Women’s Fund Friends & Supporters,
As the 2022 chair of the Women’s Fund Leadership Council, I am thrilled to announce Alicia Miller has been hired as the new Executive Director of the Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Her experience, enthusiasm and great communication skills will bring a fresh chapter to our organization following the successful tenure of Meghan Cummings.
Alicia was selected after an extensive search and interview process that reviewed many impressive candidates, but Alicia’s accomplishments and passion for helping marginalized women made her the perfect candidate to take the Women’s Fund to our next chapter.
Alicia most recently served as the Second Chance Director for the Ohio Justice & Policy Center where she led the agency’s work to provide direct legal assistance and policy advocacy to expand the ability of people with criminal records to advance employment, education, safe and affordable housing and community reintegration. She is deeply familiar with the systemic issues facing marginalized women in our region. Prior to this role, Alicia served as a public defender and Assistant Misdemeanor Division Chief for the Marion County Public Defender Agency. Throughout her career, Alicia has been committed to her clients and advocating for their rights. She is passionate about remedying barriers faced by marginalized individuals.
We are excited for the community to meet Alicia as she takes the helm of the Women’s Fund. You are invited to join us for a special edition of our Tomorrowland Townhall on Tuesday, July 19, where Alicia will be in conversation with Meghan as they discuss this exciting new chapter for the Women’s Fund. Details to come soon.
Join me in welcoming Alicia to the Women’s Fund community.
